I know how stressful it can be preparing for your family shoot. You hope that the photographer you have chosen won’t think your family is crazy and you pray that they’ll get just “a few good shots”. Don’t lie….I know this is what goes on in your mind.
Well….I’m here to assure you…..you are NOT alone. Below is a picture of my family….equipped with stuffed animal heads!! HAHAH!

Basically, I’m here to tell you that I know everyone gets stressed out about what to wear, will little Bobbie give a cheesy smile, will Sally look at the camera and smile………but in reality, none of that matters. Some of my favorite family pictures are just us…..being “US”. Perfectly IMPERFECT…even if it means we are a little weird!!
So no more stressing about all that other stuff. The most important thing is that you took the time to be together to document this time in your life….
AND…..even though we have one less person in our pictures now a days, and my sister is no longer with us…….the images from years past that she is in, mean more to me than you might ever know…even with the cheesy smiles, breakouts, and bad hair days …and all!! <3

Jen, I soooo want you to do our family pictures! Unfortunately, we live in western Colorado, so all I can do is admire you from afar!
