Yo, STOP. COLLABORATE. AND LISTEN.
For some of you, this may be a flash back….for other’s you may think, “what the heck are they wearing?” OR “what the heck is that huge silver box?” HAHA! What can I say, I’m a child of the 80’s and I wanted to live vicariously through these guys! I know the photos aren’t 100% accurate, but seriously, if you are a child of the 80’s I think you can appreciate the “fun” we had with these.
You know those stories your Grandparent’s tell, “I use to walk up hill both ways, barefoot in the winter to school”?? I’m about be the newest version of my Grandparents. My kids and grand kids will probably role their eyes at me when I tell them what it was like to live in the 80’s. You know, like how we had to talk on a phone that was attached to…(gasp)..that WALL! Or how if we wanted to write someone a letter, we had to (gasp) put a stamp on it and how about if we wanted to record our favorite song on the radio, there were no IPODS or music down loads, we had to (gasp) hit record on the cassette tape just after the radio DJ was done talking so it didn’t mess up the mixed tape you were making!! Man, I feel like my Grandpap!
I’ve always loved those lists, “You know you were a child of the 80’s when…..” I use to sit and laugh my butt off on some of the things we did, how we wore our clothes or the phrases we used…Were you a child of the 80’s?? Go read this site and see if you can relate. https://www.inthe80s.com/80schild2.shtml Leave me a message of your best 80’s memory! 🙂
In the meantime, put down the “Babysitters Club” book, kick off your high tops and get your glass of Crystal Pepsi and enjoy the photos 🙂 These are just a handful of the ones we took…..
The 80’s called and they want their leg warmers back…….SIKE!!!!

OMG Jenn these pictures are seriously amazing!!! I love them!! you have such a eye and WHERE DID U FIND THOSE OUTFITS?! hahahahahahaha
I love that you dress Mallory up like a doll and have her pose. She is the cutest thing ever. Maybe you created a little model and she will make millions of dollars walking runways all over the world!
I remember you “Dressing me up as Madonna” once….you put different colored dots of lipstick all over my face lmao…I’ll NEVER forget that, I thought you were INSANE! haha
hrumph. when i wanted to record stuff when i was a kid i couldn’t because tape recorders were expensive and not for kids. those big reels were tricky to use too! 😉
heh, honey, lemme tell ya about the 60’s… 😉
