I often wonder what people REALLY think when they leave a shoot after meeting me for the first time. Those that have known me for along time “get it” but I can ONLY imagine what people driving away think-hahaha!! Most of the time when I’m at a shoot, I say weird things, funny things, whatever it takes to get a reaction. That’s what I’m after-“The Reaction” that moment where someone isn’t posing in front of the camera but laughing and being themselves. Today, poor Denise probably thinks I’m a weirdo–sorry Denise!! Tee he he But seriously check out her photos…she is absolutely gorgeous! Not everyone can pull off the “serious” look. Some can look mean, some can look cheesy and some can look fake….hers is very “front cover of a magazine” esque!!
This shoot was originally schedule during the recent heat wave with the out of control humidity. I called and gave them the choice to reschedule due to how uncomfortable it would have been in the heat. We chose today but then we saw they were calling for rain. Poor Denise rushed home, got ready, rushed to the shoot and guess what…..the rain NEVER came!! LOL She rocked it though.
I shot her brother’s photos a little over 2 years ago…that makes me feel old, but it also makes me feel flattered that they chose to come back and have me shoot for them a second time. That really is the best compliment I could ever get! Mom, I know you put 100% of your confidence in me today during the shoot and I hope I have made you proud. Ya know, it’s half the battle when you have a great looking model! 🙂 I’m not really sure how I get so lucky…..

PS: note to self-pack the bug spray for future shoots!!

Jen, I just wanted to tell you that I feel that you really go the extra mile to get the best out of your shoot. I have never saw a picture that you have taken that I didn’t like. I can see you do this for the love not just the money and it definately shows in your work. I visit your site often just to see your pictures and many times I don’t even know the people. It’s a joy to follow your work. Your talents are greatly appreciated. Wishing you all the Best,
Judy Wadsworth
