I understand….I get it, I NOW know what all the hype is about at the In-N-Out Burger!

After finding out we’d be going to Vegas last year, several people told us about this burger joint that we just “HAAAAAD” to try. Sadly, we didn’t make it there last year but we were determined to this year. Aric, was adamant about having us try it at least once……… AND ordering off of the “Secret Menu”.

Aparently, In-N-Out Burgers is a West Coast institution. And one of the keys to their success has been keeping it simple. (I LOOOVE Simple!) There are only four food items on the In-N-Out menu: Hamburger, Cheeseburger, Double-Double and French Fries. In-N-Out compliments the food with the standard array of Coca-Cola beverages and three shakes: chocolate, vanilla and strawberry. And that’s the menu in its entirety……or at least that’s what they want you to think. The truth of the matter is that there is an extensive “secret menu” available for those in the know. In fact, the secret items actually outnumber the items legitimately on the menu. ohhhhhh, sooo James Bond! PLUS it has this 1950’s vibe that I LOVE.

There is lots of information out there on the Internet about the secret menu, but no one seems to have gotten it all, and a lot of what is out there is just plain wrong. Nothing is more embarrassing than ordering a secret item that doesn’t exist. Since Aric was with us and he was “in the know” about the secret menu, he helped us order. We got ours “animal style”.

Not only was that burger and fries the cheapest meal we had while in Vegas ( a whopping 12 bucks plus some change) but it was one of the best burgers I’ve ever had. So I get it now….. 🙂 Want to find out HOW to order off the secret menu or WHAT some of the “secret menu names ” are *click here*.
