One of the first things his mom told me was, “He’s very casual-a jeans and t-shirt kind of kid…….ohh and he plays footbal!”. As soon as she said that I KNEW exactly where to take him…..the football field! I won’t lie, it brought back so many memories. I also graduated from Blairsville and in my much thinner days, I was a cheerleader since 3rd grade. So I TOO have spent many many nights at that same football field, by the same concession stand, behind the same fence, near the same ticket booth….ahh the memories. It was the one place I thought he’d feel most at home. You see when you’re from a small town and you play football, it just kind of runs thru your veins. So off we went to the field!
