The first time Chuck told her loved her was during the Steelers game. He said “win or lose, I still love you!” I’m happy to announce that yes in fact they did win the game and it was from that point forward their relationship went to a new level. A phrase so small could blossom into him “putting a ring on it”! It was only fitting that the proposal had SOMETHING to do with football-can you see a trend here? During the Superbowl this past year, Chuck went over to Betsy’s Dad’s to watch the game. After annoying her through the entire game (her words-not mine) by claiming their game room was an inferno and taking the dogs out so he could cool off (I’m going to go out a limb and say it was his nerves) he waited until after the game and got down on one knee! And here we are, two plus years since the beginning of their relationship shooting their engagement session at….where else- Heinz Field, home of the Steelers.
They will be married in March and their reception will be at….yep, you guessed it, Heinz Field <insert happy squeals> 🙂 These two are the definition to “laid back”…..and too bad that Betsy and I didn’t go to the same high school, I have a feeling we would have been good friends! I asked them where they were planning to go on their honeymoon, her response “….We do plan on going somewhere all inclusive, and with a swim up bar or I don’t think Chuck will go” I love them! haha!
