Santa is coming…Santa is coming!!
I had so much fun at Chestnut Ridge’s Breakfast with Santa! It has grown so much over the past few years. Can you believe there were just under 300 people who attended!? Ohhhh yeah, and that was a lot of itty bitties that sat on Santa’s lap! Looking out over the crowd as he came thru the doors, the little girls and boys jumped up and down with excitement! This is my favorite time of the year!!! 🙂
This is Rocco and he’s getting the crowd all rowed up for Santa’s arrival!
Santa!! OMG Santa’s Coming!! I know him, I know him!!! haha
We had a FULL HOUSE!!!
Let’s get this party started! Greg grabbed this picture of me “working”. YES, I wore my Santa apron…don’t judge!! 🙂 The one thing I think it awesome about Breakfast with Santa at Chestnut Ridge is that not only do you get a free 5×7 (complimentary from Chestnut) but parents are encouraged to take their own photos as well. That means no long lines or dirty faces from the people at the mall! tee he he!!
And on to the cuties!! I dare you not to smile!!!
All she wants for Christmas is her two front teef!! 🙂 tee he he
And because I don’t think the staff gets nearly as much recognition as they should. They’re always behind the scene making things go smoothy and providing excellent service. This is why Breakfast with Santa is possible!!! 🙂 They did a fantastic job on Saturday!! Everyone except that guy in the red tie! I kid I kid!! 🙂 Fist bump Dan….you’re awesome!
And then…….there were toys! I saved this until last because quite frankly it makes me tear up! This was the first year collecting toys for Toys for Tots. I wrote a blog (which you can read here) talking about how my family received toys from Toys for Tots while I was younger and how it brightened up my holiday. This year we asked anyone who was willing to donate a toy to bring it with them to Breakfast with Santa and their name would be entered into a drawing for a complimentary family shoot. I am humbled by how many of you brought toys with you….especially because the only place we “advertised” was my blog! I am happy to say that we are going to be able to donate 60 new toys to needy families just like mine was within our county. Santa is going to be busy this year!!! I also want to congratulate Melanie Thomas for being the winner. Santa picked your name himself!!! I can’t wait to work with you!
To everyone else…thank you so VERY much for giving back this holiday season! You have no idea how far your small act of kindess will go. I know I’ll never forget the strangers who made my holiday brighter!!
And although this is a crappy photo……..it’s me and Santa. We survived roughly 100 children! 🙂 I’ll drink some milk to that! tee he he
HUGE thank you to Chestnut Ridge for planning such a huge and successful event!
