She called me a few days after the proposal……..She typed, “I realllllly want YOU to be my photographer, can you give me the dates your available so I can pick a date!”.  She already had a chance to see how I work when she was the bridesmaid in Vanessa and Bill’s 2011 wedding….so I was beyond flattered when she contacted me more than a year before her wedding!! I’m so honored that I got to shoot her wedding…..she is seriously one of the sweetest people I’ve had the chance to meet. <3

Clint met Sallie thru his sister Erin…..who also happened to be Sallie’s the Maid of Honor! He proposed via a scavenger hunt. He created a list of things she had to find during their day trip. For each item she found, she earned a copper ring. When they arrived to their desitation, he had different items laod out on the kitchen island. Each item was covered with a napkin. She got to pick the order of the items she wanted to uncover. There was a variety of stuff….everything had a meaning. It just so happened that the last item she picked was a wooden box with a bow. When she opened the box, it said “Will You Marry Me?! She had been secretly hoping all along that he’d propose………ohh…and she said yes!!!

I loved that Sallie chose to get ready at her Mom’s house…..where she grew up. It’s so much more special than a random hotel room 🙂

She was absolutely stunning…..and the lighting in the room was to die for! Big shout out to Audrey Griffin from All Dolled Up for making her look FABULOUS!!!!!

She is glowing!

I posted the right image on facebook earlier today….I hadn’t realized it at the time, but while I was editing, I saw that her parent’s wedding photograph is on the wall behind her!! LOOOOOVE!!!

Seriously……amazingly beautiful! Sallie, you made my job so EASY!!!

These moments…….THESE MOMENTS are why I love what I do!

I have a special place in my heart for the father/daughter photos…..I can’t explain it….maybe it’s because one day, I want to have images like this of Greg and Mallory!

It was a rather cloudy and dreary day…….but we worked it!!! The bridal party was amazing and had such a great sense of humor!!

Loved these guys!!

I love you guys!!!!
