If you’re a photographer, then you know there are two things you can not ‘EDIT’ into an image. Energy and Love…..no matter what I do to the image, it’s either there or it’s not. I can brighten, sharpen, add vibrance, but if there is no chemistry between the couple, I just can’t edit that in. With that said, I have had the most amazing clients this year. It’s so apparent how much Nick adores her and THAT is something that I can not add in with camera settings!!
Nick went to culinary school in Italy to prepare himself to take over the family business at Nap’s Cucina Mia in Indiana, PA. Not long ago, Nick returned from Florence, Italy where he has obtained a master’s degree in italian cuisine and to continue the family’s time honored traditions in the restaurant. I don’t know about you….but that makes me hungry for some pasta! Lascia mangiare! Jessica met Nick when she took a waitressing job at the restaurant…the rest is history!
Nick and I have a dog, Lola who is six. She is like a child to us and we spend a lot of our free time doing fun things with her. We love being outside, whether it’s skiing or taking hikes in the summer. My family owns a big piece of property, so we enjoy spending time there fishing and swimming. We also LOVE to eat! It’s not only satisfying to us, but always a learning experience…whether it’s chinese, mexican….or a fancy dinner out of town, we love going out to dinner and fun dates! Nick and I are both very close with our families and spend lots of time together, it’s a very important part of life to both of us! We are so excited to be bringing both of our large families together!
Nick’s birthday was coming up and everytime I asked him what he wanted he would say “you.” Shrugging it off, I went to the mall and bought him a birthday present and planned a dinner at home. I came home from work that day and stopped by the restaurant to see my birthday boy. I was in the kitchen making him brownies (his favorite dessert) and he asked me to come next door to the new part of the restaurant to see what construction had gone on that day. He asked me to stand behind the counter so he “could see how I looked.” I was messing around and pretending, and when I turned around, there he was! I tackled him to the floor and laughed and cried and laughed and cried. He was covered in saw dust! We haven’t stopped smiling since that day!
We both fell for eachother 😉 We are going to Italy for our honeymoon and getting married in a church there, just the two of us. We are going to start up North and take trains towards the South. We are very excited!
We make each otherlaugh everyday. We are each other’s best friend. I think because we put our friendship first, it makes us stronger. We try to always make time for “us”….but always make time for our friends and families. We are the couple that is also always inviting our friends over for dinner or welcoming people to our home. That is important to us.
We’re goofy. We are NOT high maitenence. We laugh….all the time. We like going out and having fun with friends, but like staying in in our sweatpants just the same.
Stay tuned for the reception photos in another post! <3
