If you can remember back far enough-December to be exact, I covered a Breakfast with Santa event at Chestnut Ridge. During the event, I encouraged guests to bring an unused and unwrapped toy to donate to Toys for Tots. (You can read about it here) I talked about how growing up, my very own family relied on outside organizations during the holiday because we were part of the “working-poor”. The goal was to deliver, through a shiny new toy at Christmas, a message of hope to needy youngsters that will motivate them to grow into responsible, productive, patriotic citizens and community leaders. And I was SOOO overwhelmed by the amount of toys and donations we received. For being such a small/intimate event, we were able to donate close to 100 toys to local families. I had promised to pull out the name of one family who would receive a complimentary family session for being so generous…………..well….meet the Thomas family!!! <3
I believe this is the “we’re going to Idlewild” face!! For those of you who aren’t local, it’s a local amusement park that the kids LOOOOOVE to go to. As a matter of fact, it’s the park I grew up going to…..and Logan knew that right after the shoot he was getting to go!!! haha!
I love this set of photos! <3 Logan is a little ham!!!
Thanks for coming to hang out with me…but more importantly, THANK YOU SO MUCH for being to incredibly generous and helping to make someone else’s holiday a little brighter!!!! <3 <3
