“I will admit that I am a very hard person to surprise, but he really got me when he proposed. He knew I wanted that moment to just be for the two of us so, he made a plan that would be very special for us. We went to sleep one night and he woke up at 5 o’clock in the morning while I was still asleep and put on a full suit and woke me up as he was kneeling on the side of the bed with the ring in his hand. I was completely surprised and overjoyed. It was the best way to wake up that I could imagine.” -Ashley
This is Mike and Ashley….and not only did I get to hang out with them on one of the most gorgeous fall days we’ve had so far…but I also get to shoot their July wedding next year! They have to put up with me again…MUAH AHA HA HA
Ashley:
1. I loveeeee anything sparkly and shiny and you will probably be seeing a lot of that at our wedding. 🙂
2. I’m kind of an old crazy cat lady. I have a huge 7 year old cat that is my snuggle buddy.
3. Although my job can be stressful, I love being and nurse and helping people.
Mike:
1. He is a huge car guy and loves old Hondas.
2. He is my Mr. Fix-It and I count on him to fix anything from our washing machine to my lip gloss.
3. He is a great cook.
“We love being able to lay around together and watch TV and movies. We have an amazing group of friends that we love spending time with. We also love to go tubing and boating during the summer and hope to have our own boat someday.”- Ashley
“We have actually known each other for awhile as we are from the small town of Kittanning, PA and I used to be friends with his sister when we were very young. As we got older, we went to the same high school, although we didn’t talk much as Michael is 3 years older than me. After college, Michael moved to Florida for a few years and when he moved back to our hometown, we saw each other at a local bar and he asked me out on a date. I eventually gave in and we have been together ever since! 🙂 “- Ashley
