Do you want to know what I LOVE about these two? They are fun, sill and sarcastic…..basically we were BFF’s as soon as they got out of the car! I also LOVE that they weren’t afraid to be goofy together in front of the camera! I had so much fun with these two during our shoot and I know they are going to be a hoot for their wedding!!
They met at a local bar in Kait’s hometown, many years ago where Kait’s parents ALSO met at the SAME BAR! Both meeting stories follow a similar story line of the guy initially showing interest and the girl turning him down! But with us it was because Josh has a yearly tradition of growing a beard and then shaving it into a handlebar mustache for a day – the day we met just happened to be that day, and Kait did not find that mustache appealing! A few weeks later at wing night at the same bar he came over to apologize for the earlier encounter but this time with a cleanly shaved face, a few weeks after that we went on a first date and now here they are!
Kait of course first noticed his ridiculous mustache, but also his fun personality and kindness towards her friends.
Josh first noticed Kait’s sassy personality
Each year Josh’s parents visit Kait’s family for a weekend at the River house so once that weekend was set for the summer Josh set his plan! A band we like was playing at a local brewery so we made plans to go out to dinner there with everyone. As we got ready for dinner Kait’s Mom told her Josh was down on the dock and she should go check on him. When Kait went down by the water Josh pulled a dozen roses out of the boat and a ring that he had tied to a flotation device just to be safe! Our parents watched from the house as I said “yes!” and we all had champagne to celebrate!

Josh- can barefoot ski, loves ultimate frisbee, never broken a bone
Kait- have been a tap dancer since i was five, loves butterflies, won a pageant at model rocketry camp
we don’t take life too seriously, we like to have fun and love all the same activities. And we are both Penn State Alumni!
