This is going to be a doozy….I think I’m breaking all the “blog rules” and posting WAY too many photos -but I couldn’t help it.
I met her for the first time in the lobby of a Starbucks. She and her posse had come the whole way up from Maryland to tour the venue she’d end up getting married at. We laughed and talked all things wedding over a warm cup of coffee sitting around the table……you know back when we could still sit down in a restaurant…the “good’ol days”!
Fast forward a year or so later and we are in the middle of a pandemic which through some of her “well organized” plans for a loop. Despite everything that may have prevented the average bride from going thru and having a wedding…I don’t have “average brides”…..they made it happen! They are going to have so many cool stories to tell the Grandchildren one day. I know many of you who may be reading this right now, weren’t able to make it to the big day -for whatever reasons-but my goal is to make you feel like you were there. I hope you smile BIG when looking thru these. There are few surprises tucked in here.
2020 will forever be the year that I remember for the rest of my career. I worked thru a pandemic and have so many of my own stories to tell. One of the things I’m most proud of is that I got to document something that will go down in history. I got to be part of that…..someone trusted *ME* to do that for them. I get a front row seat into one of the happiest days of someone’s life….during a time in history that we will be hearing about for a very long time.
I hope you can relive this day a million times thru the images I created for you….I just can’t wait for you to see them ALL!
Sit back and enjoy your “not so little” sneak peek!
Pandemic Wedding in Southwestern Pennsylvania
The champagne pop……the hazards of being a wedding photographer!
Someday, cell phones are going to look very different and I love that she’ll have a photo of what they use to look like back in the “olden days”. haha
2020 is the year that every Bride utilized technology more than any other year. From Bride’s live streaming the ceremony and Face-timing loved ones… Love was not canceled.
Probably one of the most creative First Look’s I’ve photographed. A big balloon filled with confetti…check out how fun this was!
AND JUST LIKE THAT….he sees his gorgeous bride for the very first time!!
This photo brings me so much joy!!
Fun fact, they brought up all the Christmas trees in a box trailer from Maryland! The entire reception space was decorated with them….keep scrolling to see how gorgeous the reception space was!
They brought everything you see with them….in a white box truck…..from a few states away!
