This is the time of the year that my blog posts are bursting with color! Nicole and Jeremy planned their engagement shoot at the perfect time in October! You’ll see more of these two next November when I shoot their wedding at the Home Farm Barn!
Jeremy-
- I just graduated from the IUP police academy and started my first police job
- I have a bad habit of not folding and putting my clean laundry away
- I totaled my first car in a parking garage
Nicole-
- I just finished my Masters in Literacy on July 1st. I will be a certified Reading Specialist!
- I absolutely hate pickles
- I am in 2 other weddings. Both are for my good friends. One is December 2022 and the other is June 2023.
“Our proposal happened on Jeremy’s family trip to Gatlinburg Tennessee. I had this gut feeling the week before that something might happen. Jeremy was acting a little suspicious up until the trip. We took a hike up to Laurel Falls in the Smokey Mountains. I was told that we were taking family photos. We took the 1.3-mile hike straight up the mountain. Once we made it to the top, we enjoyed the waterfall and let the spot clear out for our “family photos”. We took a few photos with his uncle and sister. His parents stayed on the other side of the bridge because his mom is scared of heights. This is when I had a feeling that the proposal was coming. Then it was our turn to get pictures together. Jeremy wanted me to turn around and face the waterfall. I kept turning around saying that he was scaring me. We talked for a minute, and he says, “I am just going to do it”. Thats when he got down on one knee. The only problem is he couldn’t get the ring box out of his shorts pocket. Once he got the box out, he asked me to marry him. Of course, I said yes.”– Nicole

“Jeremy and I went to the same high school (one grade apart) but never interacted very much until after we graduated. We met through our friends. My best friend was dating his best friend. We were at campfire, and we all decided to play truth or dare. Jeremy was dared to kiss me (not once but twice). Let’s just say those two kisses led us to where we are today.”– Nicole
I noticed how cute Jeremy was when I first met him! I also noticed how outgoing he was with everyone he interacted with.
Jeremy noticed my green eyes and my quietness when he first met me!
