Highschool Sweethearts…..or should I say “Middle School Sweethearts”!
They first met in 7th grade math class. However, Jake didn’t even ask for Mallory’s number until 8th grad. He then messaged her on Facebook to ask for a homework assignment due date, even though he knew the date, and proposed they keep each other on track. This was especially helpful since Mallory gave him the incorrect date to begin with. They soon became friends who texted nearly every day.
What things did you love to do while dating?
“In our long dating history we have several favorite date nights including the drive in, mini golf, playing video games or long hikes. However, we are still always more than happy to go back to our college days order cheap pizza and either binge a new tv show.
My hobbies are starting a new craft and never finishing it, and Jake’s hobby is video games.”- Mallory
“After lots of last minute plan changes, Jake set up flowers, champagne, a pumpkin pie (sugar pie) and honey bun (honey bunch) on the rooftop of my apartment overlooking the Washington monument. He then brought me up and gave a speech and proposed. (For reference, our pet names for each other are sugar pie and honey bunch).”- Mallory
These two are getting married at Oak Lodge next July and I can not wait! Oak Lodge is a magical place and it’s one of my favorite places to shoot….and I mean, how adorable are they?!
