“I’m Marissa, I’m a bit eclectic and have many different interests. I love meeting people and generally I am very easy going, carefree person. I play guitar, ukulele, and bass. I collect vintage cameras and take photos with them. I love thrifting and flea markets. I’m a big car enthusiast. I’m also a muralist.”- Marissa
She sent over her inspiration board and it had what looked like a vintage hangout where artists would hangout and play music. Think eclectic, thrown together furniture with that vintage comfy vibe. We searched for the perfect location but came up short…..so we created one in my studio. Between some of the things I already had and some of things Marissa brought, I think we pulled it together perfectly for the vibe she was going for. It fits her personality perfectly! I had so much fun collaborating with her on this. It makes my job so much more enjoyable when seniors put their own spin on their senior sessions.
After we shot in the studio, we went downtown to shoot some photos with her car and even some night shots. I loved everything about this session. She’s the last of the sisters that I’ve photographed over the years. It’s hard to believe the last time she was in front of my camera she was 10…..she’s all grown up! Gorgeous and talented!
