Meet Maren: Senior Year’s Golden Girl

If sunshine had a personality, I’m convinced it would be Maren.

This girl showed up to her senior session with the energy of three Red Bulls and the heart of a Hallmark movie heroine. A self-proclaimed “giggler,” Maren is everything you’d hope for in a River Valley High School senior: bubbly and outgoing.

She’s the class of 2026 vice president, a three-sport athlete (basketball, golf and softball….hello, overachiever!), and involved in all the things: National Honor Society, Faith in Christian Athletes, and basically the entire “Make-Your-High-School-Experience-Count” starter pack.

And somehow, this was her first time ever getting professional photos done. Say whaaat!?

All Heart, No Chill

When Maren isn’t busy juggling practices and leadership roles, you’ll find her cracking jokes, napping off her hustle, or hitting the gym with her bestie. She’s the kind of person who will remember the tiniest detail you ever told her and bring it up months later just to make you feel seen. She’s goal-driven, deeply faith-filled, and low-key obsessed with “dad rock” (Pearl Jam fans, rise up).

She says social anxiety fears her, and honestly, she’s not wrong. This girl was laughing before I even picked up my camera, and we never stopped the whole session. It wasn’t just a photoshoot, it was an experience.

The Vision: Grassy Fields and Golden Light

Maren dreamed of soft grassy fields and that dreamy late-summer glow. The kind of backdrop that feels timeless, peaceful, and a little bit magical. The second we pulled up to our location, she was owning it and laughing the entire time.

This session was equal parts editorial and authentic. Maren pulled it off like she was straight out of a campaign shoot.

That One Time on St. Patrick’s Day…

Let’s talk about one of the best stories from her questionnaire:

Maren and her friend accidentally parked in an Uber pick-up zone outside a bar on St. Patrick’s Day. The next thing they know? A pack of drunk girls is trying to pile into their car, thinking it’s their ride home.

Do they explain the mistake? Nope. They just slowly drive forward…in silence…as the girls stare, confused.
Honestly? That’s comedy gold.

Looking Ahead

Maren hopes to become a medical device sales rep following in the footsteps of her super cool, hard-working aunt and uncle. She loves the lifestyle and the mix of hustle, purpose, and people skills that come with the job.

What does she want to remember most from this time in her life?

“The times that I made a positive impact on someone else’s life. I care so deeply for those around me… I just want to be known as a good person.”
