Love Doesn’t Always Arrive at a Convenient Time
Lisa and Brian’s story sounds a little like something you’d see in a Hallmark movie. They first met during another wedding. Brian happened to be the best man. Lisa happened to be the maid of honor. (Yes…it really is that cute.)
At the time, they lived nearly 600 miles apart. Brian had settled in New Hampshire after college while Lisa was teaching in Indiana County, Pennsylvania. What started with conversations during wedding weekend eventually turned into texts, then dates, then years of making long distance work. But getting engaged wasn’t the finish line. It was the starting point.
“Our Life Felt Like a Puzzle”
One thing Lisa told me stuck with me long after I read it. She described their life as someone dumping a puzzle onto the table.
“We know what it’s supposed to look like in the end…but putting the pieces together has been a slow build.”
