She ran up and gave me one of the biggggggest hugs I’ve had in a long time….and then she says, “Hi, I’m Sadie!” ……and then comes (almost ) 7 year old Caleb, “hiiii” he says, with the cutest dimples! Right about then I just knew this was going to be tons of fun!

Meet the Walsh family! Jodi (a.k.a. Mom) is also a photographer..g.u.l.p! Talk about the pressure!!! We met up at Keystone Park, a place they love to go as a family to spend time walking around the lake, playing board games and using their imagination. S0000o that’s where we went for their portrait session. We played Chinese checkers…(well kinda!), read books and chased bubbles and maybe….just MAYYYYBE we had a little fun! These are the kind of photos I wish we had while growing up. What I’d give to have a shoe box full of images like this…being carefree, giggling, laughing and….being “us”.

Mom says…….

Sadie: loves to perform-she takes ballet and spends most of her time dancing, singing and pretending.She has an amazing imagination! Sadie wanted to be a ballerina/cowgirl but these days she’s been saying that she wants to be a photographer-just like her mom! Mom’s even brought her to a couple of sessions as her “assistant” and she’s really enjoyed it. Sadie…you’re a girl after my own heart!!

Caleb: is more of the quite type and he loves to read, especially about science, Legos, Star Wars or Harry Potter. He’s very bright and is also very imaginative.

Walsh family….I had a fantastic time with you yesterday evening! It was so very nice to meet you in person…..and I’m going to keep up with you guys on your blog!! 🙂

I’m ashamed to admit, I have no idea how to play this game! And that green ring on Caleb’s finger….THAT my friends is a special POWER ring that allows him to run fast!! 🙂
