It started out quite inocently actually. I was JUST TRYING to get a few snap shots of Mallory in front of our tree. Nothing too fancy, but now that this is the time of the year where things slow down just a bit, I get to spend more time with my family and I thought, “hmmm, maybe I’ll get a few pictures of my own kid” -you know that saying that the cobbler’s children don’t have shoes! Yeah….. well the same goes for photographers! My goal was to document just a little piece of my family…..er…try to! LOL
Here’s a peek into the every day chaos that I call my life! 🙂
On this particular day, we were hanging out in the house when I asked Mallory to go sit in front of the tree…..and that’s when it happened! She came out of no where….we just weren’t expecting it………The attack of Gracie!
It started out by Gracie licking her feet……
……and then tugging at her pant leg!
And then she attacked!!!! This is the animal that got us alllllllll side tracked!!! Gracie…..isn’t she viscous!
and then the whole thing went out the window……..at first I was upset that I wasn’t going to get the picture I had envisioned and then I thought…..hell, just go with it! This is life….this is my life. Completely spontaneous and perfectly imperfect! These are the moments I want to remember.

And then for a split moment, I thought ok, she is tired and has it out of her system……
Nope! I was wrong.
She began chasing her around the house! At this point, I’m laughing my butt off….mostly because I’m not the one being attacked! But then Mallory began to taunt her. haha!
She would sit stealth waiting for the prefect time to attack! haha!
I’m so grateful we got such an awesome dog that fits in perfect with our family. She lets Mallory dress her up, sits patiently while she pushes her in the baby doll stroller…..and I’m pretty sure that if Gracie was human, they’d still be best friends! 🙂
I did manage to get a few! tee he he! No dogs or children were harmed in the making of this blog post! <3
