It’s March and it’s JUST NOW starting to feel like winter (DAMN YOU PUNXY PHILL!!) so I wanted to share one of our recent adventures with you……..snow tubing! It was SNOW much fun! Yep…I just said that!
I felt like an “umpa lumpa.”, minus the bronze color and green hair! I didn’t have any snow gear so the night before we went shopping for snow pants at the time of year that the tank tops and shorts are being put out in the stores. Needless to say, I didn’t have a whole lot of choices, but I knew that if I was going to go snow tubing, I wanted my bum to be warm! haha! Reluctantly, I found a pair…they were a size or two too big…but damnit, I stayed warm.
Last minute we decided to gather some family up and make a trip to Seven Springs Ski Resort to go snow tubing. Best Decision EVERRR!!! It was so much fun….and the best part, I didn’t have to walk my “umpa lumpa” bum back up the hill. They have these nifty “people movers” (that’s what I call them) that take you back up to the top. Everyone had a great time and I may or may not have “taken out” some one at the bottom as Greg was yelling from the side, “YEAHHHHHH”. I swear it was an accident. Do you know how hard it is to stop using your feet when you have snow pants that are a few sizes too big! haha!

You can see each lane as well as the people movers taking people back to the top. LOOOOVED IT!! They also have different levels-there’s the one with less bumps and then (my favorite) with lots of bumps where you can really catch some air!

I love these people!!! Mallory was such a sport and went down the “scary” hill. She kept her eyes closed the whole time…but at least she tried!
Huge milestone….Mallory going down as a single rider….all.by.her.self. We packed her in there tight! haha!

I’m happy we went when we did. With my calendar filling up with shoots, it was nice to take the day to enjoy with family, let loose and laugh until our bellies hurt!
