We’re doing this a little late this year. Typically we do this at the beginning of October but with how busy my work schedule has been it got put off. Having a Sunday off was fantastic. I get so wrapped up in work and editing that it’s nice to take a step back (and not change out of your comfy clothes for the day) to spend time with the family. So we usually paint the pumpkins at the beginning of the month and then carve them towards the end of the month. Greg picked up these itty bitty pumpkins today and we both took a break away from the every day chaos and sat down to get our “paint on”. Don’t judge us people, we certainly are NOT artists. LOL
Mallory is a “hands on” kinda girl. Anything with doing crafts or creating things seems to be up her ally. She reminds me a lot of myself….so it was no surprise that every time I looked over she had the most intense concentration while she was painting. She was on a mission! LOL At the end we each took turns holding up our pumpkins. Can you tell we’re family? LOL

There is no denying that family! Jen, I seem to remember that face very clearly…
