Maybe I’m weird, but if given the chance to go back and experience high school ALL over again-I’d do it in a heart beat. I loved high school-go ahead, throw the tomatoes. But honestly, I have so many great memories and friendships from that time in my life. So 10 years has passed and the time has finally come…………the class of 2000’s 10 year reunion! We gathered at Chestnut Ridge and as I looked around the room and people were mingling, I couldn’t help but smile. There was an advantage of coming from such a small school-everyone knew everyone-and there was a disadvantage to coming from a small school-everyone knew everyone…..but it was exciting to look around the room at all of the “grown ups” and laugh about the memories that room held. We had people traveling in from Australia (Hi Rebbecca) and some of us who lived moments down the street. Some of us simply couldn’t make it due to timing or living too far away, some we just couldn’t find and then some of us just plain out didn’t want to come. Either way….we missed you guys!
I remember sitting at graduation all those years ago, choking back the tears and thinking 10 years seemed so far away. It was soo great to see all of you-let’s not wait another 10. 🙂
The photos below were from a photo booth-a.k.a. “the cheese box” I set up during the reunion. The point?
