dave + chrystie: the ceremony | indiana, pa photographer | weddings

The location they choose was perfect for a wintry January wedding. They exchanged vows in front of the orange glow of the crackling fire place. Above them-strings of warm twinkling lights and around them….friends and family. Inside the back corner of the Rustic Lodge in Indiana, PA they became husband and wife on 1-1-11. Dave…you will NEVER have ANY reason to EVER forget your anniversary—EVER!!!! lol

The officiant asked everyone (including me) not to use flash photography during the ceremony. (MOST) of the images you see below are in a dark room with no flash. I mention this because so many times I get calls from upset brides that the photographer they chose for their wedding wasn’t knowledgeable nor had the correct equipment to shoot in low light situations. I get requests to FIX images all of the time. Your photographer should be able to shoot without flash under almost ANY situation. This is something you should discuss with your photographer prior to booking them. And for the record-because the photographs are copyrighted by the photographer you chose-I can not alter them in any way.

After everyone had gone thru the receiving line and they finally had a few moments just to themselves without guests, I saw Dave hand Chrystie what looked like a small piece of paper. Following that ….she flung her arms around his neck with tears in her eyes and whispered-“You remembered!” When they had first met, Dave asked Chrystie to write her name on a piece of paper-THAT very piece of paper to be exact. He kept this ALL this time. Cue the “awwww’s”!! Told ya he was great!
