“Sand Hill Berries” is a family owned and operated small fruits farm in southwestern Pennsylvania (more specifically-Mt. Pleasant, PA) specializing in red raspberries, red currants, black currants, gooseberries, yellow raspberries, blackberries, blueberries, and strawberries……….and weddings! Emily and Ryan chose to have their wedding ceremony AND their reception at this location….and I can see why! It’s a photographers dream with beautifully landscaped property, gorgeous paths leading up to the ceremony site and the smell of fresh fruit! The entrance to their outdoor wedding site, seating area- a natural amphitheater….is charming! The farm is becoming popular with brides and it’s no surprise!
Something you can’t tell from the photos below is that we were on a verge of a thunderstorm which showed up later in the night. They contemplated moving the ceremony location only moments before it was to start……but the forecast showed that we had time….so we all kept our fingers crossed and guests came equipped with their umbrellas. I’m happy to say, the rain stayed away for their ceremony as well as their portraits and this makes me HAPPPPYYYY!!! It was as if the sky opened up and the sun came out JUST for their ceremony. Up until then, it was cloudy and dreary….and then BOOM…..there is sun! Notice it spilling out from behind her as she came down the aisle/steps! 🙂 C’mon, it’s gotta make you smile! 🙂
