I give you, Mr. & Mrs. Boyd! Boy meets girl at the place for smiles…..Eat’n Park! So where else did we go for some of the portraits….yep, the home of the smiley cookies! I have to tell you, we were getting all kinds of confusing looks from the customers. There we were in a packed restaurant at the prime time for dinner and here comes Amanda down the aisle with her groom. I think some of them thought Ashton Kutcher was going to jump out and yell, “You’ve been punked!” Tee he he ….but once they found out THIS is where they met, all you heard was “AWWWW” from the old ladies! HAHA They shared a milkshake in one of the booths, held hands at the salad bar and fed each other Smiley Cookies! 🙂
The favors at the reception??? Yep, you guessed it, Smiley Cookies! Speaking of reception, there’s was held at Stratigos Banquet Hall in Irwin and………..their DJ’s were A-mazing!
*Wedding Tip* PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE invest not only in a good photographer (obviously..HELLOOOO) but also PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE invest in a good DJ. After all, THEY will be the ones that set the tone for the energy on the dance floor! These guys were from 2nd II None Productions. One of the best DJ’s I’ve seen in a long while. Not only did they have E.V.E.R.Y.O.N.E. on the dance floor, they were so personable AND they also made my job so much easier. When people are on the dance floor YOU get better photos. PLUS they had awesome lighting set up in the joint so it added to the overall energy to the room. Amanda and Eric’s wedding was a true celebration!
I’m sooooo throughly thrilled that they chose to hire me for their wedding day. They are such sweethearts and their families and wedding party weren’t so bad either!! 🙂 I hope you have a wonderful time in Hawwaii. Aloha!!
