Her one wish…..to have lots of photos! I helped Mrs. Fleming accomplish this today-I mean it’s not everyday that someone celebrates their 50th wedding anniversary!
They have very few photos of their wedding day. The classic “we hired a family friend/family member to take the photos” and now we hardly have any. The one photo they did have….a photo of the two of them before getting into the “get away car”. NO…he doesn’t still have the car, but we HAD to try to re-create it, just for old times sake!
She was simply glowing….and I was on a mission to give her the wedding photos she never had. Even Mr. Fleming cooperated by saying a few “magic words” Tee he he! The entire family gathered at Chestnut Ridge to celebrate with a small intimate dinner! You have a beautiful family and I want to thank you for choosing me to help document your day. I hope it was everything you imagined it would be. I think you set a fantastic example that love does prevail….and I wish you another glorious 50 years!! 🙂
Brides: please let this be a lesson, hire a professional for your wedding day. Don’t let 50 years go by wishing you had the photos you dreamt of!
