She couldn’t decide what she wanted to be. It was an hour before we were to leave for the big bad Halloween parade and she changed her mind. She didn’t want to be the bear anymore. She said it made her butt look big! HAHAHA So, she switched to the witch. I have to be honest, typically I’m all into Halloween and creating a fun, unique costumes….but this year I seriously just didn’t have the time. So we settled for store bought costumes. There’s nothing WRONG with that….but it’s just unlike us. She was happy none the less and well…..she ended up with pounds of candy that will eventually make MY BUTT look big! Full circle moment right there!! LOL
I’m one of THOSE people whose family lives relatively close to each other. I mean, we don’t share backyards or anything and I don’t see them every single day but on holidays (including Halloween) we all expect to see each other. ANY reason to get together and eat really. The funny thing is that my cousins and I use to dress up while our parents pranced us around the home town parade and up the gigantic hill to go to Grandma & Pappy’s house-they were ALWAYS our first stop. Fast forward many years and now we’re taking OUR kids and prancing them around that very same parade and up that very same gigantic hill to go to the same Grandma & Pappy’s house. Grandma still answers the door with a huge smile while Pap sits on the chair watching his football games. After we made our first stop…..it was off to trick or treat just like we did when we were little. It was so much fun even if I wasn’t the one knocking on the door. Watching the itty bitty’s get soo excited when their bags began to get full.
The cool thing was, my best friend from college came over from Michigan to visit for the weekend and one of my best friends from high school brought her little man Brody out. Mallory was Brody’s helper…..I mean, personally, I think HIS TAIL made HIS butt look big! HAHAHA. We may or may not have stole a few pieces of candy off of the little kids. Don’t judge us.

……………….the entire crew. We. are. not. normal. We had too much chocolate at this point. Does it make my butt look big?!
