I’m not a landscape photographer. I just don’t have the eye for it….I’ll stick to people! BUT this morning as I was getting ready for work, it was so quiet! Occasionally you’d hear the crunch of the snow from a car attempting to drive thru the unplowed streets and then…..nothing. All the sounds were muffled. It was quiet and peaceful and then there it was…. blue sky and THE SUN!!! Thank you baby jesus!! Camera in hand, I headed out the door!
I know I know, I live in SW Pennsylvania I should EXPECT to have those dreary, don’t want to get out of bed, unmotivational, uninspiring gray days BUT I can only take it so long! I NEED the sun! I pulled off along the road at a few places to shoot some snow photos. Most of these were taken along route 422 towards Indiana, PA….except the first one! This is one of my favorite places to shoot not far from my house…I’m fortunate to have awesome neighbors! 🙂 Most of the snow had blown of the branches in second photo..mostly due to the wind. I don’t mind the cold, I don’t mind the wind…..but I NEED me some blue sky and sun!!! 🙂
You could totally be a landscape photographer! I’m happy to see the sun as well, there was actually a cool pinky purple sunset lastnight.
