How cool is this?
I have this friend, whom I’ve mentioned several times on the blog ……Nicki Ann Events. You see, I’ve been engaged for 8 years—-WHAT!?? Yes it’s true. Greg and I have yet to me officially hitched. Why? No reason really-I know it sounds silly, but we have been recently talking about it. You know, maybe it’s about time?!! If you are interested in Greg and I’s 10 year history you can read about THAT *here*. So we have been casually throwing around ideas.
So back to my friend…..she has been throwing hints at us left and right because she has said that she is going to me my self proclaimed wedding planner. Trust me, I’d know she’s do a fabulous job. Sooooo in her recent attempt to throw a few more hints at me, she’s created this inspiration board. The conversation came from a recent chat I had with her about meeting unconventionally so why not get married unconventionally. Every year we travel to WPPI in Vegas for a photography conference and we often joked about getting hitched while we are there. Now I can say, this probably won’t happen but it would be a fun story to tell the grand kids one day wouldn’t it. Regardless, the ideas she put together are awesome-sauce!
So I thought I would share it with you’all. I know some of you are struggling with ideas for your own weddings. These inspirational boards are a fantastic way to pull together all of your ideas to visually see how they may work together. Perhaps I’ll ask Miss Nicki Ann Events to send one each week to share with you. *hint hint*

I’ve sooooo been wanting to ask you about this but I know I always hated people asking when I was getting married. It is just as tedious to plan as everyone says – but – you know all the good vendors and have a kick ass self proclaimed wedding planner in Nikki Ann Events ! I’m actually finally starting to get excited about my own wedding…
