Remember WAYYYY back to March when I annouced the Prom Paparazzi Contest for the first time? I talked about how I had won a Prom Contest thru TEEN Magazine which afforded me to have my prom paid for, my hair and makeup done and photos from the local newspaper. I felt like Movie Star for the day and I wanted to use my talent to give back to one lucky teen for their prom so they could feel the same way I did all those years ago. I held a contest along with the the generousity of Chestnut Ridge Resort Spa and The Flower Gallery where teens entered based on a talent they wanted to use to “give back” as I am one day. 8 finalists made it to the final round and YOU (their friends, family, peers, etc.) voted. After several weeks-THIS amazingly talented gal, Haley Cramer won!
Haley got the royal treatment at Chestnut’s Spa receiving a complimentary hair and makeup package by the fabulous ladies. I can not speak more highly of their awesome-ness there! Haley’s hair was just as natural as she described she wanted it to be, her makeup was stunning and her dress……………well, I think the photos speak for themselves! I might admit, that for a while when she was being pampered, I might have wanted to go to prom as well!! Soon after she was ready to “work it” for the camera, Dad showed up with little brother and sister AND the flowers provided complimentary from The Flower Gallery. She wanted something simple to compliment her dress and they couldn’t have been more perfect!!
Then it was time…………….we put on some Pandora Radio and Haley worked it for the camera! We shot a photo session after her fabulus spa treatment while her Mom, myself and my assistant Erin fluffed and fixed her hair and dress so that everything was perfectly in place! (I don’t think she minded AT ALL!!)
Andrew, showed up soon after for even MORE photos. Andrew was not only Haley’s Prom date, but he’s also her boyfriend of 3 years so we had to make sure to incorporate the two of them into her shoot. Since we were able to do her shoot prior to Prom, Haley didn’t have to stand in the long lines at the school to get her photo taken in front of the backdrop, she simpley showed up in style and we began getting shots of her and her friends!
Haley, you are amazingly talented, bright and beutiful girl. Your family is fantastic and that boyfriend of yours is kinda cool too! Tee he he! I hope you guys had a fabulous Senior Prom, that you danced until your feet hurt and you laughed until your belly hurt………You deserve it! I also want to Thank You for the awesome-sauce portrait you drew of Mallory….she thought it was pretty cool too! 🙂
You are going to do great things in your future…I just know it!! Thanks to my assistant Erin who captured a few behind the scene photos via the camera phone!
I’m breaking a big blogging rule…too many photos! Sorry for the photo overload! Haley, I’ll get in touch with you in a few days when I’m finished editing the rest!
