Jennifer does event planning back in Baltimore so it was no surprise that she was “on it” and scheduled lots of time for us to roam around the streets of Johnstown before the ceremony looking for cute little spots for portraits of the two of them. They chose to do a first look which really opened up more time for portraits of just the bride and groom…….plus it took a lot of the stress off of them after their ceremony!
You’d never guess but it was close to 90 degrees and HUMID during these but Justin was a trooper. During our conversations leading up to the wedding, Jennifer told me that they chose to have a small and simple wedding. They wanted it to be about the marriage and less about the “wedding” and that they spent their money on the things that really mattered…….photography! It was probably one of the nicest compliments I have ever received.
Jennifer and Justin….I hope I’ve done you proud!

We stopped at City Hall for a few shots….I love the LOVE in these shots.

We had to stop at the local “Em’s” sub shop…….somewhere that has a meaning to them!

We found this cute little bike rack at one of the local parks….I LOOVE this image. It’s quirky!

Her dress was AWESOME for twirling!!!

She told me that her Mom photographed her and her two sisters growing up at this fountain all the time….so we HAD to incorporate it somehow. Trust me, at this point with the heat, it was VERY hard not to jump in! Tee he he!

Gahhh….I LOVE IT!
