Oh my! Where do I even start!? Ohh, I know! With the AMAZING Jerry and Dana over at Scheller & Co. Image and Design. They were so fantastic to work with….and Jerry has the patience of a saint! I had a blast working with them and although I’ll admit when I set out to do this whole “re-branding” thing it was a bit daunting. It definitely puts things into perspective because I got a taste of what it was like to be on the other end of the creative curve…in other words, I had to put my trust and faith into someone (just like my clients do) to come up with the vision I had in my mind and he made the whole process so easy….I feel silly for not doing it sooner! <3   We started off with a new logo design which has been on my mind for YEARRRRS. I loved my other one at the time and it definitely served its purpose, but my business has grown and *I* have grown, so I wanted something to represent that. I'm in love with it. I've never been one of those girls that wanted a fancy-schmancy logo with swirls or whimsy little colorful things surrounding it and I certainly didn't want it to feel like it was from a scrapbook. I wanted it to be simple, comfortable and text based. I love what we came up with and I think it targets just the right kind of client for me! In the era of digitally savvy consumers, logo makes a great impact in branding any service or product (and quite honestly I understood that). The perfect logomark could instantly convey what a organization is all about. Businesses in the US might therefore want to take the help of professional logo design agencies like Timmerman Group (based out of St Louis) or other professional designers in their city, given how important a logo is when it comes to establishing a successful and retentive brand identity.<3

Next up was the website refresher. If you’ve been to my house, I love antique-modern design. I love pieces of furtiture that have a history to tell because it’s been around a while, I love simple lines, muted colors, I dispise clutter, I love mixing old with new but on the other hand I feel like my personality is completely opposite and I wanted a website that combined the two. A site where I could be my quirky, silly, not afraid to laugh side but also keeping with everything mentioned before. I got on Pinterest and started pinning images that resonated with me for one thing or another and that’s how the whole process began. I’ve alway said, I feel like I have an old soul…but I’m truly a kid at heart. Along with the images below…I told him I wanted my site to feel: clean, modern, authentic, comfortable, uncomplicated, sense of humor, casual. Jerry had his work cut out for him! haha!

…..and here’s what we came up with! My own little informal place on the inter webs where my clients and future clients can follow my personal and professional life, and features images from the weddings and portraits I shoot, the places I travel and the friends and family that mean so very much to me.

There are a ton of new features but among all the little things that have changed….

1. Galleries: I’m really excited about this. Now instead of searching thru categories of the different shoots I’ve done, there’s a one stop shop for clients to view samples of my work. This is still a work in progress but I’m looking forward to rounding out my “collections” this year.

2. Promotions Tab: In the past when I’ve run promotions they were often lost under the many blog posts I published through the week. Sometimes clients had to search thru my blog or hope that the link showed up somewhere on facebook to get the lastest promotions/sales/specials going on over here at the studio. Now, there’s a link where I can list all the current promotions…easy peasy!

3. More simplified and cohesive: It flows……and feels more ME. Ultimately, I want to work with clients who can relate to me because I want to connect with the people I’m working with 🙂

I’m so excited…..it just FEELS so much better! Go ahead-snoop around, I love what I do…..I hope you can tell! I’d love to know what you think! 🙂
