Did you know……I have a total of 7 other siblings? I have the “his, hers and ours” kind of family. Most people have no idea because you mostly hear me talk a lot about my sister that died in a car accident and whom was a major influence for me being a photographer, but unless you know me on a personal level, you might not know that I’m the oldest of a total of 8.
My parents are divorced…so between my two families there are a total of 8 with me being the oldest…..oh the pressure! hahaha! And even though two of my sisters are technically “step” sisters, I’ve known them my entire life, so they are my siblings as far as I’m concerned! <3 Let’s just say…it makes the holiday’s interesting….and expensive! haha! Let’s break it down: there’s me…the lucky one whom was born first! Then there’s my oldest sister Nicole who died 10 years ago, I have teenage twin brothers Ronnie and Jeremy, two amazing step sisters Trista and Brittany, a little brother Jacob who is 9 months older than my daughter….and then there’s Brandi, my littlest sister whom this post is about! (cue the circus music!!)
Her name is Brandi and she recently graduated the 6th grade and will be entering the big bad senior high next year! Their school does a 6th grade graduation and I made it a priority to attend! I’m so proud of her! She’s blossoming into such a beautiful young lady……who has a very protective big sister-just sayin!

I played hair stylist and makeup artist……it was fun! There might be 19 years between us….but I can play dress up with the best of them! haha!

Someday she’ll be happy that her sister was a photographer!

The class of 2019….that’s insane to think!! That number seems so far away…but we all know how time flies!

Getting her “diploma”!

Exiting as an official 7th grader! Man, I feel old!

And of course I had to get one of us together……I teased her, that I’m more tan! neener neener neener!

She’s super adorb! I would have killed (today..maybe not then) for pictures of all of my middle/high school activities. She’ll thank you some day I’m sure.
Two more things, because I’m a rambler. #1: You look super hot in this picture! #2: I’m the second oldest of 7 kids, in a similar situation of yours. Christmas is crazy expensive because of it!
awesome jen congrats to your little sister and jen great pictures.
Little sis is going to high school….good lord, does this bring back memories!
Great pictures as always! Love the one of you and her together 🙂 she’ll cherish all of these I’m sure! (if not now, later on in life, as Katy explained too!)
