They completely sold out a little over a month ago…AND there was a waiting list of 60 people. Yep, you’re looking at a room filled with roughly 350 people. That photo below isn’t even of the whole room! AND…..I’m proud to say….I made it!!!! I photographed roughly 140 children. GULP……but I made it and without spiking my eggnog! ! HAHAHA!!!

This isn’t even the whole room. It’s so awesome to watch this event grow….considering the first year they held a Breakfast with Santa there were only 45 people…..now look at it! <3

I love how excited the kids get when it’s almost their turn. I can hear their little voices behind me while I’m shooting…..filled with anticipation. Some of them couldn’t have smile any bigger if they wanted to!!
Each child wrote what they wanted on a red card, so that when they got up to Santa and got a little shy, he would still know what they were asking for! 🙂

we had a few criers! tee he he! Can ya blame them though?! Someday, Mom will be able to get these out and have a few laughs (if they haven’t already! haha!) I have a very memorable one of my daughter around their age…..is it wrong to say it’s one of my favorites?!
Meet the awesome staff behind making the Breakfast with Santa run smoothly! These guys work so hard both behind the scenes and out on the floor so that so many of you families can create holiday memories. These guys are amazing and probably don’t get nearly enough recognition as they deserve….AND they wore antlers …….bonus points!!!!

And lastly, I’m not sure how to properly find the adequate works to thank you all! I’m blown away each year at how giving each of you are. This toy drive means so much more to me than just a pile of unwrapped, unused toys, it hits a special place in my heart because I was on the other end of this toy drive once and it’s so heart warming to know that despite all the bad we see in the world….there are a million good that drown that out. Sincerely, from the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU SO MUCH for taking the time out of your busy lives to purchase a toy and then bring it with you. We had over 150 toys and some of you brought multiple toys (one woman brought….30!!!) ….and I just know that you helped brighten up someone’s holidays….trust me, I know! <3
I posted this on Facebook right after the event, but a BIG CONGRATULATIONS to Beth McElhaney whose name was chosen from the raffle from one of the staff members. She gets to spend an hour with me creating family portraits…..she has no idea what’s she’s in for….muahh ha ha ha!!!
I told Santa to smile with his eyes! He nailed it! haha!
