Who knew that mutual neuroscience class at Carnegie Mellon would result in these images. I shared their story on a previous blog along with their engagement session, but I wanted to share it again here:

We met in a neuroscience class at Carnegie Mellon. We were assigned to the same group for a group presentation, and we got along really well.  We started getting to know each other and realized that we lived only a block away from each other in Shadyside, so we started hanging out and studying together every day. I remember that he had a remarkably open schedule–he would drive me home from class and then say, “Well, I was just going to study at Starbucks if you wanted to join…” and we’d end up spending the whole day together. He says he’s never studied so much!” -Catherine

Over the years, I have gotten to work with some fabbbbbbulous people in this industry! On this day, I got to work with hair stylists Brooke Rockwell from brookerockwellhair.com …….

….and sweetheart Lisa Johnson from kiss-and-makeup.com. Two hugely important people in making any bride look gooooooorgeous!!! And always making my  job so much easier! <3

I love these……her bridesmaids wore light gray dresses…….i’m currently obsessed with gray!

THOSE LASHING!!!! She has the most gorgeous red hair and her makeup was flawless!

I know Catherine and Jake had family travel from all over the world to be part of their day….but some that could not make it due to weather, schedule, distance, etc….so I hope that if you are viewing these that it helps for you to feel like you were there!
