The first step is to admit it……I’m addicted to Instagram-there, I’ve said it….and it’s only become worse because of my new GoPro toy! I’ve been on Instagram for about 3 years now and I just love having a little digital scrapbook of my life-both professional and personal to look thru and relive. The whole reason I started the account was for my friends and family from out of town to keep up with our family so that I wasn’t that annoying person who was updating my Facebook status with pictures every 5 minutes…..instead I’m that now that annoying person who updates my Instagram every 5 minutes…ok well not really, but I do take a lot of pictures. One advantage is that many of my clients have really gotten to know me thru all the updates and I’ve been told since they feel that they already know me, they are more at ease during their session….and I say, HEY WHATEVER WORKS! Instagram really is the perfect platform for sharing your life with other people. As more clients begin to find my page, one of my friends did suggest that I could consider buying some more followers for my account. Apparently, the more followers a business has, the more reliable it can look. As I want my future clients to consider me credible, I might look into purchasing more followers from companies like nitreo in the future. For now, I’ll see how my page grows. Perhaps I’ll even have to start a photography account soon instead of using my main account. We’ll see!
I’m so happy that I take so many photos of our adventures, just the other day I was looking back thru the 2,790ish photos I’ve posted over the years and I can literally see Mallory changing. Somewhere between 2nd and 3rd grade she’s lost her baby face, she sprouted up 3 inches and she is maturing into such a beautiful young gal. I’ve uploaded our travels, photos with friends and family, my weight loss journey, behind the scene client photos/shoots and it’s so awesome to look back and see how far we’ve come!
So, I apologize for blowing up the Instagram feed yesterday…..but it just had to be documented. Greg took his Rat Rod, Betsy (yep, we named her) out for a spin to get ice cream and we ended up getting a flat tire. Poor Betsy….but Greg forgot a spare…I will never let him live that down! I’m happy to report, she was towed home and is safe with a new tire….and she’s ready for this summer’s photos shoots! 🙂
Happy Summer Ya’all!!!!
PS: I hereby promise no duck face, sparrow face OR food-ography! hahaha!
