Inside the lodge at Treasure Lake in Dubois, PA there is some stunning architecture. The beams are big and massive and they filter thru light from both sides, I knew that doing portraits outside at 1pm with the sun blazing down wouldn’t be flattering, so we opted to do some inside shots before heading outside.

I’m a sucker for a good black and white image. I love these two shots…..so romantic!
These images were taken a few moments after the first look…..and as you can see, Matt couldn’t stop smiling. I mean can you blame him…his bride is HOT HOT HOT!!

One of my favorites!

Funny story: Their bridal party was so large….we took the trolley and scoured out some spots for the group shots. We ended up pulling over in someones back yard for a few shots. They were so nice after realizing we were snapping wedding photos, they offered to let us use their property down by the lake. Unfortunately, we didn’t have time, but sometimes you can meet some kind people on random pit stops. haha!

During the reception, we snuck away to head down towards the water. The lighting was way to harsh earlier in the day, but as the sun was setting behind the trees, it was perfect!

Marcella and Matt, you guys were such great sports and thank you for trusting me to document your day. I can’t wait until you see some of your reception images. ABSOLUTELY hilarious…..and heart touching at the same time…but that blog is for another day!!
