I have been so very fortunate over the years to get Brides and Grooms who are absolutely amazing. They not only trust me to document one of the most important days of their lives, but they are genuine, they wear their hearts on their sleeves and are so down to earth. I’m not sure how I get so lucky and attract those types of clients…but whatever I’m doing, I must be doing right. I have worked with some AMAZING people so far and I’m only 1/4 of the way thru wedding season. Lindsey and Ryen are special…..because I have never had a bride be SOOOO ADAMANT on booking me for their wedding. She called me almost 3 years ago to see if I was available. I giggled because honestly, I NEVER book a wedding that far in advance….EVER….but for some reason, she was so enthusiastic and ADAMANT that I had to shoot her wedding….I caved and booked the date! I’ve gotten to know her and Ryen over the course of the past few years thru their engagement session, facebook, instagram and she’s always got some little trick up her sleeve. It was an honor to have worked with you and your families-you have some amazing people to look up to!! MUUUAH!!!!
Oh and incase you were interested, in seeing their e-session I shot 2 years ago AND to learn more about how they met click here;…..Their Engagement Session
Think small- town, high school sweethearts, think small country church…….and mix in lots of love, laughter and a few happy tears!

This has been a LONG time coming….and as the sign said at their venue……FINALLY!!!!! haha!
Ryen surprised her with these as gifts before the ceremony! <3

I love the shot on the left because as I was going through the images this morning, I noticed Mom is kissing her forehead!

I’m telling you….it takes a village to get a bride dressed! haha!

I also didn’t notice when I shot this, Mom tearing up! <3 <3

In memory of her Grandparents!
Lindsey opening her gift from Ryen…..I love small country churches!

And of course, a few snaps of the Groom getting ready thanks to Greg!

Instead of doing a first look before their ceremony, they chose to keep it traditional…..well kinda! They were able to hold hands behind a wall so that they couldn’t see each other. Lindsey wanted to give him a smootch so we made them close their eyes. Lindsey is trying so hard to fight back the tears!!

And…Ceremony time! Ryen…we see your eyes watering!! <3

Small country churches always have the most gorgeous light!

I love the emotion in everyone’s faces in this shot!

Mr. and Mrs. Sawyer!!! Stayed tuned later in the week for part 2 of the blog…..portraits and reception. GOOD LORD are they hilarious! hahaha!
