Incase you missed the first blog post, you can view that *here*.
My favorite part of any wedding is usually the portrait part….and I LOOOOVE when my brides and groom schedule in plenty of time to get lots of images. We had so many fun nooks and crannies to work with at Five Fillies Farm in New Wilmington, PA, so we wandered around trying to stay out of the harsh sun…..which eventually turned into a beautiful sunset!!!

I love how the light is leaking in thru the barn wood…and the image on the right, yeah….well that was Joe’s idea!! <3 It’s probably one of my favorite images!
“At first we did NOT hit it off…we actually actively disliked each other! Then, we met again 4 years later when visiting Jason in Pittsburgh, and the rest was history. I was living in Pittsburgh at the time and Joe was living in Indiana. He would come to visit on his days off from work…after 3 months of that, he decided to move to Pittsburgh! Bless his heart, his commute back to Homer City for work was brutal. After we lived together in Pittsburgh for a little over a year, we decided to move back to Indiana and make our home here.”-Erin
Their amazing bridal party. I love how everyone is non-matching……it’s sooooo country! <3

“As a bit of background, Joe has not, even one time, been able to wait until the occasion to give me a present. Birthdays and Christmas, they all come early So…
We were all packed and ready to head out the next day on trip to stay with our dogs in a cabin on a glacier lake in Vermont. Joe came downstairs and sat on the couch next to me, looking a little disheveled. He turned to me and let me know how happy he was with our home, hour dogs…our lives. He then got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. Of course I said yes! Later he told me he was planning on asking me while we were on a hike in Vermont at a place he went as a child, but he couldn’t wait! But it just wouldn’t have been like him if he had!”- Erin

As the sun started to go down, I grabbed them from the reception to get a few more. I couldn’t resist!!!

What words would you use to describe yourself? “Simple, relaxed, classic and a bit country”- Erin
“ We enjoy trying new restaurants and spending time with our dogs outdoors. “- Erin

And this…..THIS SHOT….was soo worth it! I have a few more sunset shots I want to share in the reception post. They are simply gorgeous!!
