He called me to book an engagement session BEFORE he actually popped the question! THAT was a first for me!! haha! He said, “I know it would be special for Elsa as she has been obsessed with your website since meeting you at Travis and Theresa’s wedding” I met Elsa when Eli was the best man at a wedding I shot last year. They both live in Texas but were coming home for the 4th of July holiday weekend and Eli wanted to be sure that they could fit in a session before heading back. So, he contacted me before he proposed to make sure! LOOOOVE!!! Of course it’s been a rainy two weeks in SW PA but we made it work. Yes it rained during our session, but you’d never know….Elsa was so incredibly awesome!
Just incase you couldn’t tell by the photos…..SHE SAID YES!!!! He popped the question at the Japanese Gardens inside Houston’s beautiful Hermann Park. Afterwards, they enjoyed a candlelit waterfront dinner and enjoyed a romantic evening at the Houston JW Marriott. Ahhhh Eli, such a romantic!!
How did you two meet?
“Elsa and I met in Albuquerque, NM while I was working and she was visiting a friend. The night we met was literally the only opportunity I would have ever had to meet my beautiful future bride! We dated long distance for nearly a year while she was living in Tucson, AZ and I in Houston, TX.”- Eli
What are some of your hobbies?
“We both love to travel and we have been all over the States together. From Pennsylvania to Florida to Los Angeles, CA and everywhere in between! We also enjoy dancing and cooking for each other. Elsa is a big Disney fan and has a passion for interior design!”- Eli
