With all the rain we’d been having in SW PA, we almost rescheduled her shoot becasue it was calling for storms. We decided to go forward anyways……and good thing we did-not only did the weather cooperate but she ended up giving birth 3 days later!! I get to photograph her new baby girl later this week!! I can’t wait to meet her!!
I think I love this session so much because it’s at a place that MEANS something to them. These shots were taken on their property-the very property they recently bought to raise their future children. So as the her daughter grows up and looks back at these images, Mom can point to the place in the barn where she use to play tea party and show her a photo of the very pond she played in “back in the day”. I love when people surround themselves with things that mean something….something they can use the images to tell a story about one day to their Grandchildren. I’m all sentimental like that! Don’t get me wrong, I like Pinterest and all…..but are all those cute little props going to MEAN something one day?
