oh boy oh boy oh boy!!! We’re having a BOY!! Mallory’s getting a little brother!!
We are so stinking excited…it’s what we wanted all along!!! #teamweiner!! You know what they say, Mom’s always have an intuition and I just knew from the very beginning that it was going to be a boy! I mean I had a 50/50 chance.
The coolest thing about finding out we were having a boy was that it was on Greg’s Mom’s birthday. She passed away only 9 months after Greg and I were dating (that was almost 15 years ago) and I love that even though she wasn’t with us physically, she was still part of the special moment….and we’ll never forget we found out it’s a boy on Grandma Debbie’s birthday <3
My mom wanted sooo badly to be at the sonogram appointment, but she had to work, so we figured we’d at least extend the courtesy of telling our parents first before spilling the beans to the rest of the world…I live in a small town-news travels fast, I learned that when I found out I was pregnant! haha! With our crazy schedules of having to leave to go to Puerto Rico to shoot a wedding in a few days, Mallory’s basketball tournament schedule and the rest of everyone else’s chaotic life, we invited some family over to “reveal” what we were having before we left for our trip. Most of them have been #teamweiner from the beginning so it was fun watching them find out it’s a boy!
We found non-see thru balloons and filled them with blue confetti …filling them was the fun part-cleaning up wasn’t so much fun! haha!
I just hope this kid has a sense of humor, he’s sure going to need it for this family! hahaha!
