Meet Morgan! She’s a high school senior at Homer Center High School…..class of 2017 WHAT WHAT!!! She’s a cheerleader and on the Track and Field team AND she’s very, very involved in their media program at Homer Center! She’s basically one of the most down to earth seniors I’ve worked with!! She had me laughing the entire time! This girl is hilarious and I’m so honored she chose ME to document this time in her life!!! <3 <3
What do you want to be “when you grow up?”:
” I would like to be in the area of Journalism, but a unique career with it. (not just a news anchor or writer for a news paper) So I’m still trying to work some things out! And I choose it with inspiration from my role model, my Media and former English teacher!”- Morgan
Give me 5 words that describe yourself:
“Well I asked my mom and her original answer was, “a pain in the ass.” But I asked her to dig very deep and be sincere, and here’s what I got.”- Morgan

Tell us 5 random facts about yourself:
” 1. My father died when I was three, so I’ve been protective over my mother since then and it’s always been us against the world! God blessed me with the greatest woman in my life, and I could never repay her for all she’s done for me!
2. I’m going to be starting my third year as a lifeguard at our community pool this summer and I love it so much! Getting to have so much responsibility and having children look up to you.. Nothing can beat it!
3. I’ve held executive positions in my class (Historian and Treasurer) since freshman year! And I was just elected Senior Class Treasurer! (So I guess some of my classmates like me!)
4. My grandma gave me my first car when I got my license in September, and she’s honestly my go to, my #1 girl. She’s a black 2011 Kia Rio and her name is La-a. Pronounced La *dash* a. It’s a longgggg story.
5. I have a very strong relationship with my family and thank God for them everyday! For my 16th birthday, I literally begged my mom for a tattoo, and yes if you’re picturing like on your knees begging that’s what happened. She caved in and let me, and I got a small one of my ankle that has my siblings first initials, D, J, M. I wouldn’t be the person I am today without them!
Honorable Mention: I’m a complete princess. I’m not a spoiled brat by any means, just a princess. My friends and family call me it all the time, usually with sarcasm but hey I’ll take what I can get! I also get called Morgie more than Morgan, so feel free to call me whatever you want! “- Morgan

Tell us a funny story about yourself:
” So one night my ex and I were talking, and he’s really into cars and he loved pointing out how I am car illiterate and would always try quiz me. So we were talking and he asked me, as a joke, what do you use headlight fluid for, and me being the “blonde” I am, I replied very confidently with, “duh! Your headlights!” And I still hear about it to this day. (But he also thought my eyeliner was mascara so we got even!)”- Morgan
