If you have followed me for any amount of time, you know that I’m pregnant and due to have a baby in July! It’s no secret….I post updates on my FB page and especially on Instagram-which I’m pathetically addicted to, I’ve blogged about it several times and well…it’s kinda hard to miss if you see me in public now-adays! haha! You may also know that this is my second pregnancy and that my first pregnancy with Mallory was 11 years ago (almost 12) and that it didn’t go so smooth…..so needless to say, I’ve been basking in the joy of a very uneventful and smooth pregnancy and this time around I have been able to enjoy all the parts that come with it that I wasn’t able to enjoy the first time. One of those is including maternity photos!
Imagine my heartbreak being a photographer and not having belly shots of my first born. She came early-very early around 28 weeks……the pregnancy was awful, I didn’t enjoy it one bit and my one pound baby ended up spending close to 3 months in the NICU before we could bring her home weighing 4lbs and 40z……but this time around, I’ve made it way past 28 weeks and thanks to some good friends I’ve made over the years, I was able to document this amazing time in my life!
At the time these photos were taken, I was around 33 weeks….that is a huge mile stone for me. I also know that the baby is already weighing in around 4 pounds 11 oz which is almost 4X’s what Mallory weighed and that I can finally breath a sigh of relief! I will be forever grateful for my friend Courtney Katherine Photography for snapping these photos of me….I’m not sure she will ever know how thankful I really am!

I was excited to buy this dress at Maurice’s in the regular section…technically it’s not maternity…but I loved it!
If you follow me on Instagram….you KNOWWWW my obsession with watermelon! As a matter of fact, the way we announced our pregnancy was with a watermelon-so of course I had to use it in at LEAST one for the photos! haha!
We are going with a vintage truck theme in the baby’s room so it was fitting for us to pull out Greg’s 1950 truck and to find some old run down mill for our photos! I love them!
Greg has been so amazing during the entire pregnancy! I really couldn’t have asked for a better “baby daddy!” haha!
And Big Sister Mallory is anxiously awaiting Levi’s arrival! She is going to be such a big helper……and a mother hen….I can already tell!
My little family……I guess we’ll have to get an updated photo once he’s busted out! haha!
Stay tuned in the next month or so for newborn photos…he’s going to be here before we know it!!! I’m also excited to get back on my “weight loss” train and get back to where I had left off!

You are looking great Jen! I would even venture to say you are glowing 🙂
