Fall Weddings at Oak Lodge in Stahlstown, PA
Attention: In this blog post you will see a gorgeous bride, dramatic skies and a Dirty Dancing reenactment…..trust me they had the time of their lives! tee he he (see what I did there?! haha)
Remnants of Hurricane Harvey was threatening the entire day. You could see the clouds looming overhead (see one of the images below) and I’m happy to say that it never did rain until the last several hours of the evening and I was able to capture the most gorgeous rain shot right before we left. The good news is, if you choose to have your wedding at Oak Lodge in the Laurel Highlands of PA there are plenty of amazing “rain plans”. They have the most gorgeous buildings, overhangs, the lodge is fantastic and cozy and it’s just all around romance no matter what the weather….but on rainy days, it’s just a little more…romantic!!! <3
Don’t forget to check out Instagram for other images not shown ton the blog!

I met up with Allison, her mom and sister in the bridal suite also known as the “Eagle’s Nest” a quaint room on the property where all the bride prep takes place.
I mean….those beads!!!
I’m a sucker for bridal hair worn down. It doesn’t work in all occasions like on super windy days but I just think it’s so classic, soft and feminine.
Max reading a heartfelt letter written by Allision! All the feels.
Last minute preparations of the Bride and Groom.

The veil she wore was from a headpiece that her mom wore on her wedding day. <3
I’m not sure how I get so lucky …but day-um, I get to photograph some gorgeous brides.
HAWT DAMN.

Max and his daughter AND flower girl Miss Eden.
A few more shots before walking down the aisle. These were shot thru the window of one of the buildings on the property. Photo opps EVERYWHERE.
Here comes the Bride…..

I love the way they looked at each other!
The inside of the chapel is amazingly gorgeous. It’s one of those things that looks EVEN BETTER in person. It creates such a romantic and simple feeling.

Miss Eden and Alisson!
And now it’s time for a little romance in the woods…we’re off to do wedding portraits!

That sky though! Oh hayyy Harvey!
The sky made it so moody …and romantic!

We got to hang out inside the lodge for a little while and they got to kiss by the fire!! <3

I love this shot so much!!
All the guests were given chocolate dipped pretzels.
I’m also a sucker for twinkle lights!!
Speeches and Toasts!

The first dance.
Father/Daughter dance…
…..and let the party begin!

This is one of my favorite dance shots of the light. They reenacted a scene from Dirty Dancing…..it was epic.
Oh it’ rains on your wedding day….no big deal!!! <3
Allison and Max, you two were amazing. You’re family was amazing and your day was amazing. I’m kinda sad it’s over.
