Fun fact about this shoot….
About 3/4 of the way thru it, I locked the keys….and my camera….and my phone….in my car. *face palm*. We were shooting in downtown Indiana, Pa and I had locked my car to go up to main street. When walking back to the car, I noticed my car door was open and immediately my mind went to someone got into my car. Turns out-I just didn’t’ shut it the entire way so it was in the parking lot with the door ajar the entire time. Since it was “technically locked” but the door was opened, it never dawned on me that if I shut the door-it’s be locked. So I took off my gear, stuck it on the seat (the weight is heavy so I take it off when I can) and shut the door while I was talking to Mom whom was waiting for Gracie to go change. So I’m standing there by my car chatting away with the door closes and my equipment and EVERYTHING just inside the door. I turned to open it to head to the next location….and it occurred to me what had just happened.
Luckily, I’m married to a car guy who knows how to break into locked cars! hahah! He arrived, jimmied it open and off we went to the last location! Listen, Greg runs out of gas…and I lock keys in cars. We’re a perfect duo! hahaha!
Gracie is amazing-as you can see from the images below- and we all got a good laugh out of it…but man, did I feel like an idiot.
