Once upon a time two high school sweethearts met up with me in a back alley for engagement photos. She was gorgeous, he was handsome…..the end! hahaha!
But seriously, is she not so freakin gorgeous!! I’ve had the pleasure of working with these guys a few times in other weddings I shot, now they get to be the star feature in their own big day next July and I will put money on the fact it’s going to be amazingly crazy fun!

Summer going in to Alaina’s freshmen year, she had to work a volleyball camp at the high school. Dylan and his friend Ryan Hoff (who has known Alaina since kindergarten) stopped by to watch some of the volleyball games and that is when Dylan spotted Alaina. Ryan introduced Dylan to Alaina and gave him her number and then the rest is history.
What Dylan first noticed about Alaina: She was very shy, cute, brace face (had bright blue braces on at the time)
What Alaina first noticed about Dylan: Very outgoing, sense of humor, a tall cutie, flirtatious
Dylan told Alaina that he and his family were going up to seven springs to night Tube and had reservations at a nice restaurant before hand. Dylan reached out to 10 of Alainas girlfriends and 10 of his guy friends and told them to surprise her at a condo after the proposal. When we arrived at seven springs we went to a restaurant where she thought they were having dinner with the fam; however, he took her over to a back patio and started expressing his feelings for her. He blacked out and does not remember what he said but at-least she said yes. Then we went back to the condo and all of our friends surprised her and then we partied all night long.
We are very unique because people do not see high school sweethearts that much anymore. We have been together for so long and have been through many ups and downs but have always stayed best friends through everything. Our personalities matchup perfectly. We are both very easy going, can get along with about anyone, and are very comfortable around one another.
Dylan’s – was in the marching band before he decided to switch to football in high school (Alaina didn’t know him at the time lol), loves rom coms, enjoys salsa dancing
Alaina’s – has a fear of styrofoam and balloons, keeps up with the Kardashians, huge fan of Spanish and Jamaican music
We bring out the best in one another and after 9 years of dating we are still crazy obsessed with each other. We both have the same outlook on life and our goals align with one another. As we said before, we have been through A LOT together and as years went on this is the best our relationship has ever been. We have learned so much from one another and have grown a lot as a couple. We are each others better half and can’t imagine our life without one another.
