I know first hand how expensive Prom dresses can be-trust me, I’ve had to purchase them for my daughter! haha! I also know how “fussy” it can be when shopping for them. You try on a bunch until you find “the one”, the store puts you into their data base so that no one else from your school can purchase the same dress….and then there’s the alterations, the shoes, the jewelry, the matching flowers…..all to wear it for less than 4/5 hours. Less time than a Bride would wear her dress that she went thru all the same fuss for.
Maybe Prom has a special place for me because WAY back in the day when I was in High School, I won a contest thru Teen Magazine and I felt like a rock star that year. I’ve never forgot that and I’ve always wanted to give that to other gals because it’s a core memory for me.
All of that to say, I know how much energy (and money) go into this one day and I’d love to give you photographs to commemorate that time. These images aren’t taken on Prom Day, as a matter of fact, there’s no time for that because you have to get photos with Mom, Dad, your date, your dates family, your friends from school and who ever else. It can feel like it’s hard to fit in everything before heading off to the school for Grand March or the beginning of Prom festivities for the evening
I‘m offering $169, 45 minute Prom Mini Sessions here at the studio in Blairsville from now until the end of May. $55 Digital files are purchased a’la carte during the proofing process.
You bring your dress, and shoes, and come with your hair and makeup done (even if you’re doing it yourself!) and I’ll do the rest. I’ll tell you how to stand, how to pose, where to look, what to do with your hands…..I got you girl! As long as you have your dress in hand, you come into the studio and we do a model shoot in the dress that you spent so much time picking out. I don’t care if you’re a freshman or a senior, let’s get some professional model photos in the dress you’ll only wear for a short period of time.
