I’m going to go out on a limb here to say that MOST Moms would agree, hands down ,that home made gifts are their favorite. Some of my most valued gifts from Mother’s Day were macaroni necklaces, hand print and foot print art, drawings and coloring book pages my kids created for me and construction paper cards. But I would ALSO venture to say that photographs WITH their children is also high on the list of gifts Mom would love, treasure, value and would some day become a family heirloom.
Some how when our kids get older, the home made gifts become far and few between, and the family photos become even more scarce. The kids have their own sports/work/school/life schedules and having the family unit all together at one time becomes less and less..and in some cases, only on the holidays. It’s the cycle of life and I supposed we all go thru it but it doesn’t mean we don’t still want photos with our “grown up” babies. Quality time becomes more precious as they start to create a new adult “grown up” life but you’d love to have some updated photographs to look at in the times in between.
I want to create that for you and document this season of life. I want you to have images that show how they smile just like their Great Grandpa, or how much they have grown, or just that they are your most cherished relationships. Photographs are so much more than the paper they are printed on. If you’ve ever lost someone close to you, you know exactly what I mean.
